Shady Beach is neighbor to Norwalk's Calf Pasture Beach. Shady Beach Park offers ample shade and several picnic tables as well as softball fields, volleyball and basketball courts, a playground, kiddie splash pad area, etc.
You're looking for a bison tube only large enough for the log hidden somewhere between Shady Beach Park and Spruce Swamp Pond.
Parking at the beach requires a resident pass during beach season, but there is usually plenty of parking at the nearby off-site parking area in Taylor Farm's lot (if it's not too busy you might be able to double-park long enough to make the grab). BYOP!
