This cache is named for an eagle we saw flying through the park hunting. Just like we were, except he was hunting for survival while we were hunting for a place to hide this cache. I can remember when it was rare to see an eagle at all. Now they are nesting all over the west metro and are seen in many of the cities where people thought they were gone for good. I hope you get a chance to see this top predator in action hunting. We had one on the shoulder of the road up north take off and fly beside our geomobile with his prey in his talons it was really cool to see up close.
