Windang Island is a wonderful location for many types of reacreational activities such as surfing, fishing, hiking and photography. Windang Island previously was only accessable at low tide however due to changes at the lake entrance and sand build up - it is now permenantly attached to the mainland by sand. It has a long history, including being described as early as 1848.
