This cache is located on the Hominy Path trail. A Moderate 1-mile loop trail in the woods. Please access the trail from the parking lot at the Matthews Road entrance, not the main entrance for he golf course on Mercer Road. This is a large cache container with a lots of prizes, it's on a short 1 mile loop trail about 1/2 way on the trail. It's an easy find not far off the trail, great for kids.
== History. As a child I would play in the woods in this area where the trail is, It was down the road from my house. There use to be a long trail that ran through the woods to the the back of the golf course. When they put rt 18 in they cut off stone hill rd and rerouted and renamed the 1/2 of the road that was cut off to Matthews Rd.
