Geocache Description:

Located on the 'Hogback' along the Mississiwa River this is the sister-cache to the "Slocum if You've Gotem Cache" which lies not far away on the other side of the river.

Fairly decent trails will take you to the cache which is located high on a ridge overlooking the river. The area is swarming with wildlife and there are several scenic vistas looking out over the river. This is a beautiful area and worth the walk. Parking should be obvious if you study a map of the area. Note that the Mississenwa Dam is undergoing repairs and that the river is at it's natural level.

The cache itself is a cache hunter's bonanza. Those who get to it early will find it well worth the effort. I placed a sportsman's watch in the cache as well as a Keyspan High Speed USB-to-Serial adapter. There's also an official GeoCaching embroidered patch and other goodies.

The cache container is a camoflauged Rubbermaid Collector's jar with a screw on lid. IT's very well hidden but the general area it's hidden in should be obvious. So don't give up too easily. Since this cache is hidden so close to a foot path PLEASE take extra care to hide the cache again before you leave. You'll see what I mean when you find it -- if not placed just right it could easily be detected.
