This is the 4th multi-step cache series in and around the Rock Springs area. This one has you find various benchmarks before finding the final cache.
The web site coordinates will take you to the first benchmark. Numbers from this benchmark will help you to determine the next benchmark coordinates. At the first stop, The first digit of the year is A. The second digit of the year is B. For the last letter (C), take the third digit of the year and divide it by 2 or (third digit)/2 = C. Use A,B, & C to find the coordinates for the second benchmark.
The second benchmark coordinates are: N 4A 35.C65 W A0B AC.C23. At the second stop, the first digit of the elevation plus one is T or (first digit) + 1 = T. The second digit of the elevation plus one is S or (second digit) + 1 = S. The third digit of the elevation is R. Use T,S, & R to find the third benchmark.
The third benchmark coordinates are: N R1 ST.814 W 109 1R.T16. At the third benchmark there are seven digits after the elevation label. The second digit of the elevation is X. The sixth digit of the elevation is Y. The second digit of the year is Z. Use X,Y, & Z to find the final cache.
The final cache is located at N41 X5.YY1 W 10Z 1X.2Y5. It is on hill overlooking the city of Rock Springs. It is a small flat clear plastic rubbermate container. Please cover the final container as well as it was originally.
