A lot of my mutli caches start at a sign, but this one is more "traditional". Stage 1 is a container with coordinates and hints to the final.
Stage 1 hint. The container is located on the uphill side of a 50 foot long log. It is on top of the log in a knot covered with a flat rock.
Note: there are times when the trails are closed due to professional hunters thinning the deer population in the parks. Here's a link on trail status.
