A very difficult cache. First, getting to the parking area. Second, getting to the very remote reservoir with a canoe or kayak. Once your in the water its good times ahead. Cache, which is loaded with goodies, will be an easy find. Thank you, canoewithu
This is going to be the best cache you ever hunted down. It is on a remote reservoir that gets very little traffic because it is a mile or two from the main road, and up a .75 mile climb on a dirt road. The gates can be passed with an ATV if closed, but have to be open for a car or truck to pass. The body of water 115 acres and is convoluted so there is something new around every corner. The reservoir elevation is about 340 EL while the parking area is about 100 EL, so you see it is very remote and hard to reach with a boat. The Friends of Pisgah have an annual Canoe outing in Oct. where they open the gates and actually drive your boat up for you (pre-registation required).
