Amanita Muscaria Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

wildniagara: Well it's bound to happen occasionally. This was a really nice spot to have a backyard or at least one that backs onto it. I was in Port Coborne yesterday and forgot to stop and trespass long enough to get the container. Thankfully it's just a little bison tube hanging in a tree and not a ammo can. I'm not one to leave a geocache in the field, but we'll see how this one goes. Thank you for logging your DNFs so that I knew to archive it. I think I'll call the town of Port Colborne and request that they clean up all the tires that are in that quarry. We can't have all that pollution in a residential neighborhood right?

Geocache Description:

Amanita muscaria, commonly known as the fly agaric or fly amanita, is a mushroom and psychoactive basidiomycete fungus, one of many in the genus Amanita.

There are no mushrooms here but the area looks like one on the map. It was suggested to me that this was skull Island also. If you are a fossil enthusiast you'll enjoy exploring the shoreline on the east side.

Cache is just a camo-taped bison tube.
