Hoover One-Room School Traditional Cache

This cache is hidden at an old one-room schoolhouse. You can still go inside on the 3rd Sunday of every month(spring and summer).

The one room schoolhouse was the standard way to to educate children in the 1800's and in the early 1900's. Many people today might recognize what it looks like from the show "Little House On The Prairie".

The Hoover One Room Schoolhouse is one of the last one room schools to still stand in this area where there were once many. If you visit the schoolhouse they have a nice pamphlet explaining much of the history.
