Founded in 1964, the Madison Land Conservation Trust (MLCT) Is one of the first Land Trusts, both in Connecticut and the nation. This cache is a part of a new series that have been placed on the Blinnshed Loop trail that will be used—in conjunction with the original caches placed on this trail--for the inaugural “MLCT Geocaching Hike” on November 4, 2017.
The purpose of the hike is to introduce new people to Geocaching and the MLCT trails which, thanks to RGSMD and others, each have at least one geocache.
