A pleasant 6.5 mile circular walk around Barkway and the surrounding area.
The loop comprises of 29 caches and also takes in the "Gate Keeper Number 2", "War Memorial #336 ~ Newsells", "Middle Wood", "Barkway footpath 2" and "Cokenach View" caches as well as passing close by to a few other caches which can be picked up with a minor detour.
The route does involve a little road walking so please make sure to keep doggles under close control. You will encounter no cattle on this series.
Parts of the route can get muddy in wet weather, so boots are recommended.
A selection of hides, some of which can take small trackables and swaps, all hidden to be found. The terrain rating is based on completing the series as a whole.
