A quick park-and-grab at the edge of Arcata's newest park. Carlson Park may still be a little rough around the edges, but when it's finished will offer ready access to the Mad River for kayaks, canoes, and other non-motorized watercraft. Cache has a log, pencil, and some swag. There's a dollar for the FTF. Please replace per the instructions on the container and as logic would dictate. Then check out some of the new trails that wind through the park, watching for rare birds and PO. Have fun, and happy caching!
