"Saturday In The Park" was wrote in 1972 and recorded by the "rock band with horns", Chicago. It was released on their fourth studio album, "Chicago V".
The song is the band's highest charting single, which is saying something for a band with so many hits that Billboard has ranked them as the GOAT American band in singles chart success. The band has been together since 1967 and achieved their greatest popularity in the 1970s and early 1980s.
Saturday In The Park is played in numerous baseball parks around the nation during Saturday afternoon games.

English Landing Park is the perfect host for this cache. It is a crown jewel of area parks. Hiking/biking trails, playground, sand volleyball courts, disc golf course, bandstand, baseball field...everything you think of when you think of the "perfect" park exists here. Not to mention numerous tall, beautiful trees and an amazing view of the Mighty Missouri River.

Any day is a good day in ELP, but if you visit on "the Fourth of July", like the song suggests, you will likely find "a man selling ice cream" at a nearby carnival that is held there three or four times a year. You will also likely be able to watch the end of the annual Parkville Fourth of July parade. The bandstand in the park will likely have "a man playing guitar", but I cannot guarantee he will be "singing Italian songs".

This is a straight forward letterbox hybrid. The cache is located at the posted coordinates. It is a well stocked ammo can and should be an easy find. English Landing Park is a busy park and finding good hiding spots is difficult. I think I found a good spot for this cache, but please replace the cache as found and conceal it well so that it will last for many cachers to visit. There is a themed stamp and ink pad in the cache. Please do not remove those items.
