This memorial was placed on May 1933 by the Sweetwater American Legion to recognize several men that served in WW I from Nolan County. A rock memorial is located at the back of the park and can be accessed from the front through a gate by the street curb. Boy Scout Troop 140 recently cleaned, trimmed trees, mowed, scrubbed marble plaque and painted some of the railing. Please enjoy this little bit of Sweetwater history.
