PCHS - 1st Grocery Store and Major Shopping Center Traditional Cache

This is a series by the Palm Coast Historical Society recognizing significant sites that are historically relevant to the growth of the city, its people, and future development of the city of Palm Coast.

Civilization comes to Palm Coast in the spring of 1979 with the first food store, drug store, dry cleaners, hairstylists, travel agents, realtors, banks, gift shops, apparel, sporting goods, plants, a real post office, and a restaurant opened.  The time for having to drive 13 miles to shop was finally over.
