Hidden within the woods is a fountain which contains the water of eternal life. For many years, people searched for the fountain. Some spent their whole lives trying to find it. It was said that within the fountain was a fish that had lived for over a thousand years. The fish had never seen the ocean, or traveled beyond its home, for it feared it would die if it left the enchanted water.
One day, Merlin brought King Arthur to the well and, peering in, they saw a glimpse of eternity. Hidden within the water, though, they saw neither happiness nor joy. The ancient fish swam through the depths slowly and without purpose, as if it were trying to find something long gone. In its younger years, the fish had dreamed of many adventures in the wild ocean. But unable to leave its home, the water no longer served to bring life, but it became a prison, a place where the fish lived in the shadow of the life it once knew.
Leaving the place, Arthur shuddered at the darkness he saw within. But he felt content, for although he was uncertain of tomorrow, each day brought a new adventure and new life.

At the posted coordinates, the number of square metal rods coming out of the top of the well = J. Note that one of the rods is flush with the top of the well.
