New trail to Sugar Loaf Traditional Cache

Winona's most prominent landmark. It was created when the surrounding limestone was quarried in the late 1800's leaving what is left of Wapasha's Cap.

Cache is located near the new trailhead. After many years of being accessed from the south the city decided a new trail was in order. (The old one crossed private property and was becoming severely rutted from years of erosion.) Constructed in Oct of 17, the new trail takes a longer, more winding path and not so steep. Popular spot for hikers.

Cache is a larger small containing log, stubby pencil and plenty of room for trades/trackables.
