Warning! Troll sighting in area! Be warned, and search at your own risk!
Although we don't recommend it, if you dare to seek out this challenge, it will be a pleasant and easy walk for you, all paved pathway until you reach... him. Or her... or IT. Whatever it is. We don't know WHAT that thing is. You are on your own when you reach this area, but I guarantee you, you will FEEL it when you are close. You'll feel IT.
Holy smokes, we won't go anywhere NEAR this place now that we know that HE's there, and he scared the living STUFF out of us when we discovered him. YOU guys deal with that thing, we're not going back unless we absolutely have too, and even then it'll be with some form of protection.
When we discovered him, we dropped the cache and ran. We don't know where he's hidden it... or what he's done with it... or if he's even still holding on to it as we speak.
A word of caution... please, don't wake him! Don't disturb him like we did! Tread lightly, apparently this nightmare of a thing does NOT want to be disturbed while he sleeps, and we believe he (or she, whatever it is) stays in a spot where he hopes he will not be discovered while he slumbers. He seems to move around a bit... you must be determined to find the cache without HIM discovering YOU FIRST!
If you are crazy enough to try this, put on your thinking cap and make sure he doesn't wake while you search. If he wakes... watch out! Run fast! Again, we WARNED you. YOU were the one that decided to take on this challenge and risk the encounter with... that... THING.
The park is open from dawn until dusk, free admission, free parking, and a spot-a-pot nearby... although it's pretty scary in there too!
Should you decide to brave it out and search for it, the cache WAS a small to medium sized pencil box looking thing, and had decent room for travel bugs and trinkets. Unless he's gotten in there and taken it out, there was a log book in there. Who knows WHAT he's keeping in there now.
Tread lightly, be careful, watch your step, and... God Speed! We're crossing our fingers for you, but again, don't say we didn't warn you.
