The bat houses in this area were made and placed as an Eagle project by an Eagle candidate from Troop 99, sponsored by the K of C Building Corp of Oconomowoc. There are other Eagle projects in the park also and others are planned. Besides showing leadership by leading a project of his choosing, an Eagle candidate must earn at least 21 merit badges, 13 of which are required. This series of caches are named after the ranks they earn and the required merit badges for the Eagle rank.
This cache is placed near the bat houses that were erected. I originally placed it while helping two patrols of the Troop earn the Geocaching Merit Badge. This is not one of the merit badges required for Eagle, but is was the 35th most earned Merit Badge in 2016. This cache is close to being wheel chair accessible, but it would not be an easy task.
