In looking at the map of caches in this general area, it looks like there are a lot here so this appears to be a good ,somewhat central spot to come together with a meet and greet. My wife and I just moved to the Green Valley area and are looking forward to becoming acquainted with the cachers here. This event will be held at 12:30 at the interesting resturant called Cow Palace. Plan on about an hour or so which would make the time of the event from 12:30 to 1:30ish. Of course you don't have to eat but they do have a nice lunch menu so it is an opportunity to do some dining as well as visiting.
Since this is Veterans Day, we will give a tribute to the Veterans of the area. For those of you who are Vets, please share with the group, when you served and what branch of service you were in.
We will bring a number of travel bugs along and will be willing to trade these so would invite y'all to bring any travel bugs as well.
We will have an exchange of things pertaining to geocaching. For this, please put something of caching interest in a plain paper bag without any names. We will issue tickets as you enter then use these tickets for the drawing. One ticket and one sack of geocaching goodies per cacher. If you and your spouse or friend both cache, using different cache names, then both of you can each bring a sack and both will get a ticket.
