Things are different for Gerome the Gnome. He guards bushland to the north west of Guildford, Victoria.
Day and night Gerome stands guard on the treasures of his hidden cache, caring for some alluvial gold pits and dry stream beds, polishing the historic memorial to the north west of GZ, and waits for a friendly geocacher to visit him at his sentry box and sign his log.
This cache can only be approached along an unsealed road and open ground that might be muddy after rain. In warmer weather the grass can get long so look out for snakes. You can drive safely along the road, park, and walk to GZ.
The cache is a Regular-sized plastic container with swag, a log, and a pen and a pencil. Please use care to access the cache. If you break it I won't be mad at you if you tell me ASAP so I can do maintenance quickly. Thanks.
