Who doesn't love burnt hot dogs, right?
As my annual giving of thanks, to all you amazing geocachers who have helped make this the greatest hobby ever, I will be cooking! Now, I'll grant you, I'm not much of a cook. Generally speaking, anything I put on a grill, quickly devolves into a charred lump. In most cases, this renders food inedible, which is why my wife tends to keep me away from our grill. But with hot dogs, this isn't necessarily the case. Some folks actually enjoy hot dogs, Burnt almost to oblivion. Enter Riffster, stage right, armed with ketchup and tongs!
We'll gather at the State Forest Pavilion, around 5:00pm, the Friday after the big turkey eating holiday, and feast upon the charred bits which come off my grill, whilst schmoozing and telling lies. I'll bring the dead critter, buns and condiments. Feel free to bring anything which may compliment my horrible culinary mess. Chips, soda, salsa, whatever! Or, just bring yourself!
Special thanks to Joy, at the Florida Forestry Service, for providing the permit, for this event! If you wish to camp, let me know. If the water levels have dropped sufficiently, the camping area will be opened, and camping will be allowed via my permit. If the water is still too high, camping will not be allowed.
