What many visitors to New Zealand may not realise is that in smaller communities such as Cromwell our Fire Brigade is made up solely of volunteers who all have their own jobs or businesses to run. They can be called out at anytime of the day or night to deal with fries, floods and unfortunately too many car crashes. So if you are a visitor please make sure you are aware of our road rules, drive carefully and please remember we drive on the left.
