Red Witch: I am archiving this one for two reasons:
One, as the last log shows the area is just not safe anymore and
Two, as the last log also shows cachers are not going to honour the request to contact the land owner first (perhaps the mishap would have been avoided if they had) so for both reasons it has to go.
This cache has been in place since 2002 (prior to probably 95% of the cachers in NB) and is one of the original Doctor Livingstone caches so it is very sad to see it go.
Thanks to all who have enjoyed it and this beautiful location over the past 7 years.

Geocache Description:

A nice set of falls only 1-2 minutes from the road. A neat fish ladder as well.

Another hidden gem in NB, these falls are not far off the beaten path but still unknown to many. From Rte 845 turn onto the Peter Hill Rd. Drive on this road until you get to a bridge. Park just uphill from the bridge and you will see a path on your right. The path will quickly lead you down to the falls and the fish ladder. Take a few pics and head on down the river to the cache. It is up the hill on your right. The cache is a plastic bottle.

August 2009:
There are a number of “No Trespassing” signs around the area. Unfortunately the land owner has had problems with vandals so he is no longer allowing free access to the area. However he is aware that there is a cache on the property and asks that cachers simply check in with him before heading down to the falls so that he knows who is in the area. He lives in the big old house around the bend at the bottom of the hill. If no one is home he said you can go ahead and search but expect to be questioned if he comes home and sees a vehicle there. Please respect his wishes and don’t just follow your gps assuming that because he would allow you access that you don’t need to ask.
