Geocache Description:

This cache is being hidden to extend the GC674RK "Make Your Own FTF" Series. After Cold1 and I found BMars GC7EA5D Make your own FTF: Halloween 2017, we decided to extend the series.

This geocache has "optional" logging requirements that will help the series continue to grow.  If you chose to play the "Make Your Own FTF" Series, and therefore extending the series, please read the guidelines for the series below. **By way of clarification, there is no requirement besides the standard signing of the cache log to prevent you from logging this cache when found. Requirements are only for claiming a FTF on this cache and therefore extending the series.

This geocache is dedicated to all those that would like to get a First To Find (FTF), but end up heart broken because they can’t catch a break when it comes to signing as the FTF on a particular cache.  Well this cache is for you; if you don’t mind doing a little work.  This is a similar idea to a cache I found in Nebraska called The Curse of the FTF with just a slightly different twist.

You can find and log this cache anytime you would like, but you can “only” claim an FTF on this cache by doing the following:

  1. Find the “Make Your Own FTF” cache and sign the log.

  2. Hide a cache of your own using the “Make Your Own FTF” name, but adding a number to it or additional name.(i.e. “Make Your Own FTF 2”, “Make Your Own FTF Today,” “Make Your Own FTF Anytime,” “Make Your Own FTF 123,” etc.)

  3. After publishing your cache, come back to this page and claim your FTF by saying what a great idea this was,  and putting the GC number and the “Make Your Own FTF title” in the log.(This should give others the chance to see there are other “Make Your Own FTF” caches out there that they can also go find.)

The goal is to have fun and have many “Make Your Own FTF” caches out there, which will just give a lot more cachers a chance for a FTF.

*After you hide your own “Make Your Own FTF” cache, you may just copy and paste this web page into your own cache page if you would like.  Or you can use any variation of it you would like.
