Legion Stadium Traditional Cache

This cache is located near Sylacauga High School's Legion Stadium. 

The stadium was originally built in 1947.  The first football game was held here on September 12, 1947 when Sylacauga faced Pell City and tied 6-6. The admission cost for that game was 35 cents. The stadium currently seats approximately 6000 and today's admission cost is $7 per person.  The stadium received a facelift and update in 2016. Just behind Legion Stadium is the football team's practice field.  The soccer team also practices there. This cache is located in front of the practice field. Please use stealth and DO NOT stop for this cache if anyone is on the practice field. Tiny swag and small FTF prize inside!!
