Geocache Description:

This cache is located near a radio aid to navigation for aircraft landing at St. John's airport. The cache is in a 2L ice cream container. As with many caches there is more than one way to approach but I would not recommend a direct approach. Start at one end or the other of the Burma Rd.

The November Lima or Signal Hill beacon is used by pilots landing on runway 34 at the St. John's airport. The beacon is 3 miles south east of the airport and gives pilots a final check and indication that they can decend to the minimum approach altitude. If everything goes ok you will see the runway by the time you cross Macdonald drive. If not....

At the time of hiding the cache contained remnants of
"The Star of Logy Bay" cache and a few more items;

Logbook and pencil
Glow in the dark figures
Sea urchin
Scout patch
Balls
Bell
A dice
Jacks
Key chain(s)
Carabineer
Happy faces
2 shot glasses (beverage not included)
Copies of the approach procedure runway 34
