Chiengmai with an E Traditional Cache

This cache is hidden outside ye olde Chiengmai Gymkhana Club. It is on public land near the club, so it can be accessed 24/7. But beware of muggles! And bring your own pen.

Hidden just near ye olde Chiengmai Gymkhana Club, an infamous institution from the British colonial era. Gymkhana is an Indian term used for gathering places or polo grounds, or, today, for gymnasiums. And this location used to be the cities - and indeed all of Northern Siam's - premier British (and other expat) refuge, extending way back to the 1898s... back when it was spelled Chiengmai with an "e".
