The GC code Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Samuel737: The cache was already in its second tree as they were felled one by one, now the bypass roadworks have started and the tree is gone. Presumably the cache has been chipped - I doubt that aluminium bison put up much of a fight..... lee737

Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE PUBLISHED COORDINATES

DNA encodes all the genetic information needed to produce whatever living organism it is found in. The human genome is approximately 3 billion base pairs in size, most of which (>95% or so) does not actually encode for known proteins, and has been referred to as 'junk DNA'. Smaller sections of DNA form genes, and hold the information needed to produce proteins that form the building blocks of all of us.
The information you need to produce some coordinates is within the sequence of this single-strand of DNA.
