Geocache Description:

Who says you have to stay inside in December? Come enjoy a couple hours outside with geocaching friends at Strawberry Lane Picnic Shelter in North Chagrin Metroparks. Some caching activities have been planned to help get you into the holiday spirit. This will be more fun than shopping!

  1. FESTIVE FUN gathering at the Strawberry Picnic Shelter will begin at 2:00 and end at 4:00 PM.
  2. Hot chocolate and a buring fire in the shelter fireplace will be waiting. Dress for the weather. The picnic shelter is open on all sides so come prepared for Northeastern Ohio climate.
  3. There are many picnic tables, but you might want to bring your own comfortable chair.
  4. Optional: bring a snack to share.
  5. Optional: bring a wrapped "white-elephant gift". Each person/team wishing to participate in this "White-elepnant Gift" exchange will be informed of the rules of participation upon arrival with their wrapped gift.
  6. Optional: Wear an UGLY HOLIDAY SWEATER or other festive attire.
