The cache is within St Ives Community orchard. https://www.stivesorchard.co.uk which has been planted for the benefit of the local wildlife and community. It is looked after by volunteers and is in a beautiful and tranquil spot at the top of the town with views of the ocean and the moors, right next to the Palemon Best Recreational Park and Skatepark.
The St Ives Community Orchard was first planted in 2013 and we have 100's of different varieties of fruit trees and fruiting bushes. Above the orchard is a beautiful nature reserve with lovely walks up to the top of the hill with spectacular views and large rocky Tors. We have various fun events in the space and volunteers get together weekly to look after the trees. Always looking for more volunteers!!
