It’s time to celebrate another year of geocaching at the 13th annual GCAK Geofest.
Join us at Kincaid Chalet from 5pm – 8pm on December 16, 2017.
At 5 pm we will have social hour so you can visit with fellow cachers. The kids will have an area to make a special Christmas Item and there will be games for everyone to play with prizes for the kids.
Dinner will be served at 6pm. Geocache Alaska will provide Prime Rib and Chicken. We ask that guests bring a side dish to share. Did Mom or Grandma have a special Holiday dish? Please note in your “will attend log” what you are bringing so others can plan their dish. We will need veggies, appetizers, salads, rolls, etc……
After dinner we will have the fun, fun gift exchange. If you would like to participate please bring a wrapped gift. Price range $15.00 - $20.00. If you don’t like to shop or do not have the time, the GCAK store will have gift bags for purchase that are just perfect for a gift exchange. The store will be open most of the evening.
The annual dessert contest is back. This year the categories include: pies/cakes, cookies/bars, and the ever popular Geo themed dessert. There have been some creative desserts so let’s see that talent shine. More prizes.
GCAK will provide bottled and twinkywalks will bring a cranberry spritzer to share. Please feel free to bring your own nonalcoholic beverage.
And “The Ugly Sweater Contest”.
Wear your finest ugly Holiday Sweater or outfit. There are prizes for 1st and 2nd place. The voting will be audience choice.
Please post a will attend with the number of adults and kids in your log and please include your side dish.
