Sure this is a PnG, but stay a minute to appreciate the view and learn a little local history. If driving up, please park and approach from Dewey St, NOT Madison Ave! May or may not be wheelchair accessible - it depends on how long your arms are.
To the north across the train tracks is a view of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, located on "North Hill" aka "Catholic Hill". Built in 1928 for $142,000, it was modelled after the Benedictine Abbey of Maria Laach in Germany. It is a locally significant example of Neo-Romanesque architechure and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The twin towers that you see are 110 feet high and are the highest point in the city. One is a functioning bell tower and the other was originally meant to be an observation loft.
