Gyoda city developed as a castle town of Oshi domain. In the middle of Edo era, the production of Tabi began as a side job of the low-class samurai, and this was mechanized in the Meiji era, and Gyoda became the big production center of the Tabi. "Gyoda Tabi storehouse town" was enrolled in "Japan inheritance" which was the firstest in Gyoda pref. in April, 2017. Many tourist attractions are in Gyoda. Let's potter Gyoda city. (cf. HP)
行田市は忍藩十万石の城下町として発展しました。江戸時代中期には、下級武士の内職として足袋の生産が始まり、明治時代にはこれが機械化され、行田は足袋の一大産地となりました。平成29年4月に「足袋蔵のまち行田」が県内初の”日本遺産”に登録されました。
また、行田は、平成24年には映画「のぼうの城」、最近ではドラマ「陸王」の舞台になりました。

It is informed that Yoriyoshi Minamotono and Yoshiie Minamoto bilt Gyoda Hachiman shrine for the victry when they stayed here on the way to Ouchu. The lord of a castle Nagayasu Narita venerated deeply this shrine and made it the total village shrine.
Gyoda Hachiman shrine has "the Nade Momo (patting peach)". It is said that patting the peach gives the prayer a benefit. There is a signboard near the peach. The histrory of the peach is written on the board. The history is that when Izanagi ran back from the nether world, he hurled some peaches at an evil. Please get the final coordinate from the number(A) of peaches which Izanagi hurled.
行田八幡神社は源頼義・義家が奥州討伐のためこの地に滞陣した折、戦勝を祈願して勧請したと伝えられています。天文年中、時の城主成田長泰はこの神社を深く崇敬し城下総鎮守としました。このことから、この神社は「城主八幡」、また神社の向きから「西向き八幡」とも呼ばれています。
行田八幡神社には、撫でると御利益があるという「なで桃」があります。そこにはなで桃の謂われとして、イザナギノミコトが黄泉の国から逃げ帰る時、悪鬼に桃を投げつけたという故事が記されています。この時イザナギノミコトが投げつけた桃の数（A）からファイナル座標を導き出して下さい。
