Geocache Description:

Deadmans Creek is in the south east side of Washoe Lake, across from a State Park. Hike up moderate trail to top then head for the coordinates.

This was a beautiful hike before the fire a few years ago. The area is now starting to grow back. Nice trail to the top then there is not to much of a path. You will be looking for a large brown & black ammo can. We have seen deer in the area and from time to time people looking down from above (hang-gliders). There is a view of Washoe Lake.
