Ghost 9 - Gilpin Ghosts Multi-Cache

Number nine in the Ghost series. All are easy, the 3rd site has a little climb to it.
This is a multi cache. The first two are micro caches with the coordinates for the next one. The third is a normal sized cache in an ammo box. Two of the sites are true ghost towns or townsites, the first has some year around residents, but has a lot of interesting ruins in the town.
1. Russell Gulch - An old mining town with a lot of interesting history. During Prohibition, the Denver mob used this towns mines to hide their illegal booze, and had stills in some. During the age of "Flower" power, this was a favorite place of those seeking enlightenment. The cache is a 35mm film canister below the town a bit. Take some time to drive thru the town and see the history there. One large building ruin was built by cornish miners, and has no cement holding it together.
2. Missouri Flats - Nothing exists here anymore, it didn't exist long to begin with. Most of the residents moved on down the hill to Central City and Black Hawk. Again you are looking for a 35mm film canister with the coordinates for the third site.
3. Lake Gulch - Another old mining town. Several ruins are still there and scattered on both sides of the gulch. The cache is located at the end of the road below the townsite. This is not a thru road, you will have to come back out the same way you came in.
The ruins in these towns are on private property. Do not try to go into any or take anything from the sites other than memories, knowledge, and pictures. To get the full effect of the towns, do a little research before you do the caches, you will appreciate what is there much more.
The roads are good, and there isn't much climbing required. What is needed, is easy.
