Please Park on McPhail and walk in. The signs to use are on both sides of the entrance to Dunmora Ct. It is a 1 km round trip. Dogs have to be leashed while on the property. Stay on the side of the private road and use designated trails while visiting this wonderful area. Bushwhacking is not acceptable. Dunmora Estates are located in Central Saanich on the West side of the Saanich Peninsula overlooking the Saanich Inlet.The original 28.62 acres known as Dunmora is a classic English Tudor-revival style residence originally built in the 1920's and is a registered heritage site. The Estates have been developed with high environmental standards and strives to protect a rare and sensitive forest in its natural state. Forestry, restoration, and enhancement work have been completed. Enjoyment of the forests and water front is available through a public 1.2 km trail system that winds its way through the untouched areas of the property. Sunsets can be enjoyed at the waterfront viewpoint. Lots of wildlife can be seen including eagles, ravens, owls, seals, sea lions, whales, deer rabbits and squirrels.
