Emil Madsen Reserve Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Brain: This has been coming for a little while, but it's about time this cache got archived.
I've kept this one alive seeing as though it's been a starting point for many newbies in the area over the years (and has ended up being my most found hide, in fact).
The recent federal election also saw a promise made to upgrade the reserve which would likely cause disruption to gz for a prolonged period in the near future anyway, but the reported deterioration of the cache itself provides reason enough to call it a day and press the red button.
Whatever remains of the container will be collected shortly.
Thanks to all who visited the reserve! :)

Geocache Description:

EMIL MADSEN RESERVE

The Emil Madsen Reserve is a great little spot in Mt Eliza with a cricket and football pavilion, cricket practice nets, a skate park, three ovals, two soccer pitches, a BBQ and a playground.

Please be stealthy when there are events on, as people are everywhere!

The cache is a small screw-top container roughly the size of a mint tin.

We hope you enjoy this section of Mt Eliza!
