University of Kent First (The Wood Beast) Traditional Cache

Was the very first geocache on the campus at the University of Kent.

It's at the start of a very pleasant and little used walk through Brotherhood Wood.

You may remember a good bit from the Flash Gordon film where a young Peter Duncan (Blue Peter), endures a rite of passage involving a spacey Russian roulette ritual, a hollow log and a nasty fatally stingy "Wood Beast", scorpian thingy. No, oh well I must be getting old. :-)
