Il Duomo di Faenza, cattedrale della citta', ha una facciata frontale molto particolare: tutti i mattoni a vista, in realta', dovevano essere in marmo come la fascia in basso che potete vedere oggi. Leggenda vuole che la nave che portava il marmo a Faenza affondo', e per mancanza di soldi si decise di lasciare cosi' com'era.

Faenza's Cathedral has a very particular facade: all the exposed bricks should have been covered in white marble like the lower part you can see today. Legend says that the ship that was transporting the building material sank, and for economical reasons it was decided to let the church as it was.
