Tin Wan Tau is a beautiful, quaint village with a lovely hidden beach which not many people know about. It’s Clear Water Bay’s secret gem! In the summer you can look across the bay to beach number 2, which is usually massively crowded, and be the only person on Tin Wan Tau beach! NOTE - do not drive down the steep single lane road into the village - there is a car park by the rubbish bins which you can use. The cache is 200-300m walk down the hill from there.
This cache is hidden in an outhouse at one end of the beach. It is next to a beach house which is only used temporarily, so stealth might be required. At the other end of the beach from the Outhouse there used to be a lock up for windsurf boards and sails, now sadly closed. At the end of the beach is a fantastic swing hanging from a tree.
