Geocache Description:

A lead character Blanche Du Bois, in Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire, came from Belle Reve, a plantation near Laurel, MS, though the fortune was squandered and the house taken over by creditors. The nearby home at the edge of the park is a beautiful example of what Williams might have been imagining as he wrote. Additionally, the Geocache is placed in a park that is the site of Laurel's spring arts festival and the Holiday light display.

Mason Memorial Park is a wonderful spot to enjoy with family. You'll have a great view of what we can imagine might have been Williams' inspiration for Blanche's Home as you hunt.
