This cache takes you to the location of the community giving tree. The Giving Tree is a tree that survived the Blue Cut Fire in August 2016 and has been continually decorated according to the season/holiday by the community. The Giving Tree symbolizes the community surviving what could have turned into something much worse. The community came together and The Giving Tree is a physical reminder of a strong community. Enjoy the decorations as many more add to the tree! :)
We have replaced the cache as it had gone missing. This cache is hidden slightly off from the provided coordinates; however, there is a further clue hidden among the tree decorations. You don’t find seashells in the desert... do you? This cache is a large ammo box with lots of kids items! Also great for travel bugs! Please be careful, as this is the desert and you have the possibility of meeting some local critters. *You can park just a bit further down the road. Large dirt turn out and a quick walk to the tree.***Note: one local muggle can be unfriendly and if asked, you are not adding to the tree. :)*****Note: coordinates place cache 20-30 feet from actual location***
