Geocache Description:

This is a 24 stage multi that follows the Marion Historic Village Heritage Walk.

It should take about 1 hour to complete the walk and collect the information required.

On the Marion Historic Village Heritage Walk each historic site includes a tiled marker which is highlighted with a two-tone concrete ‘survey line’ crossing the footpath. The survey lines refer to the laying out of the village of Marion by Light Finniss & Co. Each survey line originates from Light Square, Marion, the site of the original survey peg.

The listed coordinates are for tile marker  1. You can start the walk at any of the 24 locations.

You will be collecting information of each marker. Follow the arrows on both the markers and forrtpaths. There are a few times where they can seem wrong but I think common sense should see you through.

You will be crossing roads so please take care.

For the purpose of this multi when counting lines include the title line. For example at marker 1 the last word on line 7 is death.
