Geocache Description:

A secluded beach just outside of Eyemouth which can be accessed via the Berwickshire coastal path.

Having recently moved to the area, we decided it was time to place some geocaches on the otherwise barren section of the coastal path between Eyemouth and Coldingham.  This is the first of a planned series.

Killiedraught Bay can be accessed via an L-shaped path leading down from the coastal path.  The geocache can only be accessed from the beach - please don't attempt to follow the GPSr arrow directly from the coastal path!

The geocache has been placed above the high tide mark, but it is not recommended to search for it at high tide.  Visiting at low tide will also allow you to enjoy the beach - which is generally deserted, especially outside of the summer months.

Some climbing is required to get to GZ, but no specialist equipment should be required - and none was used whilst placing the cache.  Please be aware of your own competence and limitations when assessing whether to attempt the climb, which may be slippery when wet.
