Geocache Description:

Another in what I hope to be is a series of D/T combinations with a terrain rating of 5 partly because of the necessity of a special TOTT. The landowner has given permission for the placement and searches by geocachers. Hope you have fun with this one.

The distance isn't terribly far, but it is rough terrain in a wetland area that is often flooded with water. Mosquitoes, ticks, snakes, wild hogs, poison ivy and poison oak are all possible at various times during the year.  You will be wet for sure without special gear for your lower extremities, except in long periods of zero precipitation.

You will drive through a residential area, taking several turns in the process, to get to the parking waypoint, which is a grassy area at the end of a cul-de-sac.  Be prepared to cross two or three deep ditches, and be prepared for mosquitoes, poison oak and poison ivy, snakes, ticks, wild hogs, and other wildlife.

Once you have lugged your special TOTT to GZ you should be able to spot this specially designed cache with a bit of looking. But it is NOT easy to log; it is more than 15 feet above ground level. BYOP. A team of two or more would be helpful, although this senior citizen placed it with no help. Send me a message if you do not have access to the larger TOTT, and I may be able to provide. Climbing is possible for an extremely fit and experienced person, but do not take chances, please.
