Wild Parrot Traditional Cache

Did you know... Monk parakeets (aka Quaker parrots) have been living wild in Austin since the 1970s? Formerly escaped caged birds native to South America, they have thrived being able to survive Austin's mild winters. The parrots are now included on the official list of accepted Texas bird species. While hiding this cache we saw one of these beautiful green birds fly by,  Hopefully you will be lucky enough to spot one while hunting for this cache.
