Tons of good stuff happens when we do this together.
Strong winds, high tides and people contribute to a lot of debris from the ocean. Bags and gloves are provided. We'll pick up what we can. Every little bit counts. Whenever you go to any beach anywhere in the world, it it always a good idea to bring a small trash bag.
Every second Sunday, I have beach clean up at 3:15PM which might be a better time for some people.
We do not clean beaches that belong to a resort, they have staff for that who usually clean before 10AM. We clean stretches of beach where no one owns property adjacent to it.
Our goal for these 10 AM Beach clean ups for January and February is to attack the huge amount of broken bottles and garbage left behind when the Pirate's Bar closed down and the building fell apart. Big job but someone has to do it. It has a very pretty beach. No one can build or own this property so we can clean it.
