Looking at my caching karma recently, combined with my recent (thanks to Geocaching!) love of exploring all the Bay Area trails compelled me to give back. So I'm creating this Johnny Appleseed series, sprinkling caches all along the trails closest to home.
This cache is on the City of Saratoga Pedestrian and Equestrian Trail. There is parking about 0.3 miles from the cache, but only room for one car in a pullout. There are many other ways to access the cache as the area is dense with trails and trailheads.
I never trust my GPSr anymore for high-accuracy coordinates, so I'm leaving decent location hints in the text and hint space. This cache is on the inside bend of the trail, and affords a lovely view of Silicon Valley, especially on the windy day this was placed.
